Baahubali 2 box office collection day 1: Prabhas movie crosses Rs 120 crore mark!

Oh My God! The amount that S.S. Rajamouli’s film has collected on the opening day is just unbelievable. After hours of tabulation, the domestic box office numbers are finally out and before we let out the actual figure let us just tell you, ‘Baahubali 2’ has broken all box office records. The opening day collection of Prabhas’ film has crossed Rs. 120 crore mark and that is just fabulous business that the movie has done on day one. And seeing that collection report, we just wonder how the numbers are going to fly in the coming days.

‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has earned Rs. 121 crore at the ticket windows, reveals trade expert Taran Adarsh. He has also mentioned about the amount collected by Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu versions. The film’s Hindi version has minted Rs. 41 crore whereas the Telugu + Tamil + Malayalam version has collected Rs. 80 crore. With that, the film has just created history. The movie had released across 8000 screens and it has given such a fabulous opening. Before the box numbers were out, Karan Johar apologised to his followers on Twitter for the delay in putting the numbers.

Fans across the country were literally curious to know how much ‘Baahubali 2’ has minted on day one and the results are out. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Baahubali2 creates HISTORY… Leaves you SHOCKED, STUNNED and SPEECHLESS with STUPENDOUS biz on Day 1… Data in next tweet…” And his next tweet left everyone stunned. He tweeted, “#Baahubali2 Fri ₹ 121 cr NETT. India biz. Hindi: ₹ 41 cr Telugu + Tamil + Malayalam: ₹ 80 cr”. Taran even revealed the collection detail that the film made in USA. He tweeted, “#Baahubali2 collects an ASTOUNDING $ 4,521,026 [₹ 29.06 cr] from Thu pre + Fri in USA… All set for a MIND-BOGGLING weekend… @Rentrak”

The film is just going to keep growing. Being a long weekend, the footfall is going to be humongous at multiplexes and one can’t even imagine how crazily the tickets are going to get sold.
